Ім'я моє Ірина, і моє королівство
— це кухня. Точніше, один квадратний метр
на стільниці, де стоїть моя невід'ємна помічниця —
мультиварка.
Сусідки зітхають: «І чого ти з нею возишся.
Ось у нас газова плита, духовка…» А я лишень посміхаюся у відповідь.
Поки вони миють деко і пильнують, аби борщ не википів, я встигаю і борщу наваристого зварганити, і розсипчастого плову приготувати, і ніжного
чізкейку спекти.
Фокус ось у чому: рано-вранці закинула в чашу м'ясо з
овочами, виставила режим «Гасіння» — і до обіду можна пити каву,
наводити лад у шафах чи
поливати герань. Увечері чоловік, принюхуючись, іде на кухню: «Знову твої алхімічні експерименти»
А я подаю на стіл тюфтельки у вершковому
соусі. Мультиварка подає останній
сигнал, пара йде — і в цьому
є справжнє домашнє диво. Ніхто не не
здогадується, що тут ані шматочка пригорілого, а час витрачається тільки на те, щоб гарно розкласти їжу.
Справжня господиня — це не та, хто простоює при плиті годинами.
А та, хто смачно нагодувала всю родину і помила після
себе одну крихітну чашу. І я це обожнюю.
